Salvia officinalis L. — Common Sage Hydrosol, Dalmatian Sage Water
Sage floral water is the pure hydrosol produced as a co-distillate during steam distillation of Salvia officinalis leaves from Bioform's own certified organic plantations. The hydrosol captures the water-soluble aromatic and active compounds of common sage in a gentle aqueous form — the characteristic camphoraceous-herbaceous sage aroma at a concentration well-suited to direct application and cosmetic formulation.
Bioform's sage hydrosol is never re-distilled, reconstituted or blended with added essential oil. Its naturally astringent, clarifying properties make it a valued active in facial toners targeting oily and combination skin, in hair care formulations, and in natural deodorants and oral hygiene products.
