Peppermint floral water is the pure hydrosol produced as a co-distillate during steam distillation of Mentha piperita from Bioform's own certified organic plantations. The hydrosol carries the water-soluble menthol and menthone derivatives of the peppermint plant in a gentle aqueous form — delivering the characteristic cool, refreshing sensation at a concentration appropriate for direct application to skin and mucous membranes.
Bioform's peppermint hydrosol is never re-distilled, reconstituted or blended. Its clean, intensely fresh character and natural cooling effect make it a popular active in facial mists, after-sport sprays, foot care formulations, oral hygiene products and food and beverage applications.
