Oregano Onites floral water is the pure hydrosol produced as a co-distillate during steam distillation of Origanum onites herb from Bioform's own certified organic plantations. The hydrosol carries the water-soluble aromatic constituents of the plant — a fraction of the carvacrol and thymol compounds present in the essential oil — in a much more dilute and skin-compatible form suitable for direct topical application.
Its warm, herbaceous character makes it a useful active in cosmetic formulations targeting clarifying, antimicrobial or toning effects, and it is used in natural personal care, foot care preparations and herbal remedies.
