Rosa centifolia L. — Cabbage Rose Water, Rose Centifolia Hydrosol
Rose Centifolia floral water is the pure hydrosol produced as a co-distillate during steam distillation of fresh Rosa centifolia petals from Bioform's own 14-hectare certified organic plantation. The hydrosol carries the water-soluble aromatic compounds of the Cabbage Rose — phenyl ethyl alcohol, geraniol and related constituents — in a gentle aqueous form that is well-suited to direct skin application.
Bioform's Rose Centifolia hydrosol is never re-distilled, reconstituted or fortified with added essential oil. It is collected directly from the distillation condenser in the same run as the essential oil, sharing identical traceability and certification. Its rich, honeyed rose character — somewhat fuller-bodied than Rosa damascena water — makes it particularly valued in premium facial toners, mists and floral essence formulations.
