Rosa alba L. — White Rose Water, Rose Alba Hydrosol
Rose Alba floral water is the pure hydrosol produced as a co-distillate during steam distillation of fresh Rosa alba petals from Bioform's own 15-hectare certified organic plantation. The hydrosol carries the water-soluble aromatic compounds of the white rose in a gentle aqueous form — soft, sweet and distinctly lighter in character than Rosa damascena water, making it particularly suited to delicate skincare formulations and sensitive skin applications.
Bioform's Rose Alba hydrosol is never re-distilled, reconstituted or fortified with added essential oil. It is collected directly from the distillation condenser, sharing the traceability and certification of the essential oil produced in the same run. Its rarity — a consequence of the limited Rosa alba plantation area and small seasonal yield — makes it a distinctive ingredient for premium product developers seeking differentiation.
