Rosa damascena Mill.
Rose Damascena concrete is produced by hexane extraction of freshly harvested Rosa damascena petals from Bioform's own 120-hectare certified organic plantation. The resulting waxy solid captures the full aromatic spectrum of the rose — including the heavier wax-bound fragrance molecules that are not recoverable by steam distillation — making it the starting material for absolute production and a premium ingredient in its own right.
Bioform's concrete is produced on-site within hours of morning harvest, at the same facility where distillation takes place. As the starting material for our Rose Damascena absolute, quality at the concrete stage determines quality throughout. The concrete is also used directly in solid perfumery, cosmetic balms and high-concentration aromatic preparations. Full COA and SDS supplied per batch.
