Rosa centifolia L. — Cabbage Rose Absolute, May Rose Absolute
Rose Centifolia absolute is produced by ethanol washing of our own Rosa centifolia concrete, capturing the complete aromatic character of the Cabbage Rose in a highly concentrated liquid form. The absolute process recovers the full spectrum of aromatic molecules — including the wax-bound compounds not accessible by steam distillation — resulting in a richer, more complex aromatic profile than the essential oil.
Bioform cultivates 14 hectares of certified organic Rosa centifolia and produces the concrete and absolute entirely on site. Rose Centifolia absolute is widely used in fine fragrance for its rounded, honeyed floral depth, and in luxury skincare for its skin-conditioning properties.
