Composition:
Methyl eugenol, eugenol, linalool, isoeugenol, geraniol (about 50%),
nerol (5 - 10%), citronellol (15 - 20%) and stearoptenes (25 - 30%), normal paraffinic
hydrocarbons, eugenol, farnesol. The pleasant aroma of roses is due to geraniol,
citronellol and phenyl ethyl alcohol. The durability is due to its very balanced
composition of waxes, alcohols and microcomponents. Stearoptenes are odorless and due to
the property of rose oil to harden at 25 ° C. At low temperatures, the oil crystallizes,
and when warmed, it liquefies again.
