Perennial plant with a height of 20-60 cm. The stem is ascending, rarely leafy, simple or branched. The leaves are ovate, entire, obtuse. The stems and leaves are covered with short, soft hairs. Flowers are red, protruding from the axils of the upper leaves. It blooms June-September.
